New Email / Transferred Ownership!

The ownership of AWHR USA blog will HOPEFULLY be transferred to the AWHR email. Yes, we now have an email! The new email address is: awhrusa@gmail.com . Thank goodness for the easiness of Gmail and Google (THANK YOU GOOGLE!)! We love Google, don't we?

Anyways, I hope that those of you who read this blog will continue to support AWHR USA and help us continue further in this! I hope that one day, we can collect donations to benefit the wild horses that HAVE been captured, so that they can go to good homes and have fantastic lives. If the wild horses can't live in their home, they might as well go to a good home, right?

As I said, our new email is: awhrusa@gmail.com . If you have questions, comments, or concerns about the wild horses, or would like to post a story or poem about wild horses onto the blog, then PLEASE email our new email address! The email will be checked daily, and we will respond a.s.a.p! Thanks for all of your help and support, guys!

Roundup Delayed!

The BLM was going to round-up yet MORE horses (up to 500 more!) from the Calico Mountain herd area! Thankfully, spring foaling season stopped them from proceeding with the roundup; so, we get to wait until AFTER foaling season (when foals are born...) to see the BLM destroy yet more of our heritage! Fabulous! Read more about it on the AWHR Calico Mountain Horses page!

Wicked Video!!!

This video is really cool! It's a bit boring up until 2:39. Then, it gets really kick-butt interesting... but sort of violent. It's okay to skip to 2:39... There's no crime in wanting to see some wicked cool stuff!!!!

Breathtaking Video

Kudos to debbiestringfellow of Youtube for getting these stunning and breathtaking pictures! Fabulous job! Be sure to check out the video... the buckskin horses at 3:42 are just drop-dead gorgeous!

Wild Horses in Disappointment Valley

This video can also be found on the 'Wild Horse Video' page (SOON TO BE UP & RUNNING....WE'RE HAVING SOME TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES)!

Let Them Roam Free!

This picture is one that I LOVE. There's a poem on it, and it's just darling! I think it speaks for the wild horses, straight for the heart!

A Wild Spirit

I belong in the wilderness,

and no one will ever tame me.

I run with the wind, dance with the river,

and fly with the eagles.

I am wild and free

no better life there is for me.

Before The Roundup - Pictures of The Calico Mountain Horses!

Here are a few pictures of the wild Calico Mountain horses before the tragic roundup by the BLM that killed 41 in the long run and took hundreds away from their homes.
